APPLESEED
An appleseed is a small and humble thing. In the nurturing hands of a gardener, though, it may grow to be an apple tree: feeding, shading, dying, and growing again. Our studio is built around the idea of planting seeds.
We seek to identify positions where we might be able to serve at any scale, applying our passion for design to do so. Such opportunities are not always apparent, so we remain relentlessly committed to curiosity, to care, and to action.

003_ These designed items are the elements of 10 Christmas gifts given to strangers who might not otherwise receive them. The packages as a whole represent our effort to capture the essence of Denver as “home” and “family,” two pillars of holiday spirit.

006_ The Carriage Table is a Japanese-joinery Douglas Fir and Cherry coffee table for the Syracuse University Office of Sustainability Management, a project that both embodies the values of its context and broader architectural themes. The table explores topics including material lifecycles, construction, design for disassembly, and architectural education all documented in a companion research booklet.
005_ [Tick Tock] Clock is an artifact of death, intended for the places of care and love that define domesticity. It is a six-foot-tall, inhabitable acrylic clock that argues death must return to the operations of the home. The clock is accompanied by the body of research.
008_ Commissioned design work for a wide variety of clients ranging from professional athletes (NFL, NBA, WNBA, PWHL, CFL, XFL), to national brands, NCAA DI/II/III schools, independent businesses, and non-profit organizations.
